we are discussing Tyagaraja as a subject for an upcoming competition.
Firstborn cares even less about the fineprint than I do. It’s a trait I passed on in his DNA. and for good measure, I stirred it well into his Bournvita, as well.

The child actually brings up his copy of the Amar Chitra Katha and corrects me.
“Ma, his guru is sonti venkataramanayya,” he says. “Not Sonti Venkataramayya, as you say.”

That takes care of my gobsmacked moment for February.
