I am trying to backspace the “hello”


And replace it with a “namaskaram” when the phone rings…


Not that my phone rings often. Still.

Am loving the earthy warmth in the greeting…

My mil is rather amused.

  1. It is a norm with the in-laws to say namaskaram every single time (in person and on the phone )and after 10 years of being part of the family, it comes easily when speaking to elders but I havent mastered on the phone yet.
    I think it was a tradition followed by musicians of yesteryears.
